Focus Entertainment and developer Auroch Digital have announced that Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, the “neo-retro, over-the-top” FPS that pays homage to the likes of DOOM, Quake, and their ilk, is coming this May.
A fast-paced ‘90s-style shooter, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun promises fluid gameplay and tasty sprite art, as you step into the ceramite armoured boots of a battle-hardened Space Marine. You’ll be able to charge, blast, and chainsword your way through the forces of Chaos, in a brutal pixellated bloodbath.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun will enable you to unleash your holy arsenal for the Imperium, when it launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on 23rd May 2023. Pre-orders are live now and you can check out a new trailer below.
