Welcome to Takedown: Red Sabre, a highly realistic, tactical shooter that brings a true challenge to its players. The game features 6 unique missions which can be played both in singleplayer by yourself or in co-op over Xbox Live with up to 5 other players. Bomb Defuse & Tango Hunt can also be played alone or over Xbox Live. The 3 Versus game modes include Attack & Defend, Team Deathmatch & Last Man Standing all of which that support 12 players in total.

Most of the achievements in the game are self-explanatory, it is the difficulty of the game itself that may hinder players from unlocking some of the achievements, therefore it is essential that you find a strong team, learn the games mechanics as they can be quite difficult to get used to of and finally persist with the missions as they will take several attempts to beat.

Missions
There are 6 main missions and 1 training mission to complete. Each mission grants an achievement upon completion. Missions can be played in both singleplayer or in co-op. It is recommended that most of the main missions are attempted in online co-op, and in a full team of 6 players. You have a 60 minute time limit on each mission before you automatically fail, although every mission can be completed well under 40 minutes as long as everyone takes their time.

Red Sabre Glitch
Do not play the Killhouse training mission until each of the 6 main missions are complete. If you complete the Killhouse mission first or in any random order between other missions, the "Red Sabre" achievement (Complete all Missions) will not unlock. You must leave Killhouse for last after the other 6 missions are complete. You can play the other missions in any order you desire. If you do complete Killhouse first, you will have to reset your save data. As the game does not carry a physical save in your HDD, you will have to use the USB reset trick and then complete all 6 missions again and then complete Killhosue to unlock the achievement.

USB Trick (Credit to K4rn4ge)

  • While signed out, move your Xbox Profile to a USB stick
  • Sign into your profile on the USB stick and boot the game up
  • The main part, as soon as you see the 505 Games screen show up, pull out your USB stick. Do worry as your profile will not be harmed.
  • Continue to proceed to the Main Menu of the game, now insert the USB sick back in.

At this point, there will be game save tied to your profile on the USB stick, meaning you can now complete the 6 missions again, and then the Killhouse training mission, and the achievement will unlock.

Tango Hunt/Bomb Defuse
These are secondary modes as opposed to Missions and can also be played in singleplayer or in co-op. Both modes offer 10 of the same maps each that must be completed, some are day/night variations of the same map. You only have one life regardless of whether you play in singleplayer or co-op, so it is highly recommended you attempt these in a full team of 6 in online co-op.

Versus Achievements
There are 4 versus achievements, all which can be boosted with a friend in around 3 hours. You must win 10 games of Team Deathmatch, Last Man Standing & Attack & Defend as well as a total of 100 matches across all modes. Team Deathmatch is the quickest to finish 100 games with. See "Shooter" for more details.

  • Complete the Killhouse Mission

This is a Training mission that only features dummy enemies, and can only be completed in singleplayer. Extremely easy, and will only last about 2 minutes.

Note: Do not play this mission until the 6 main missions are complete so "Red Sabre" does not glitch. See Roadmap for more details.

  • Complete All Missions

    (1)

Simply complete the following missions in any order singleplayer or co-op, though co-op is recommended as the A.I. will often die within a couple minutes and you're only granted lives based on your teammates status.

    -Biolab
    -Radar
    -Cargo Ship
    -HQ
    -Facility
-Killhouse (Remember to play this mission last, or the achievement will become unobtainable unless you perform the USB trick and complete every mission again (see Roadmap for more info).

  • Complete all Maps in Tango Hunt

    Complete all 10 Tango Hunt missions in either Singleplayer or Co-op. The objective of this mode is to eliminate all enemies on the map. The amount of enemies range from 20-30 depending on the map, and similar to the main missions you have 60 minutes to complete the objective. In singleplayer, you only have one life, no teammates therefore playing in co-op, preferable with 5-6 players is highly recommended as the enemies in this mode are just as relentless and accurate as they're are in the main missions. The 10 maps include;

    -Biolab
    -HQ
    -Night HQ
    -Radar Base
    -Radar Storm
    -Cargo Ship
    -Cargo Day
    -Facility
    -Hold
    -Killhouse Breach

  • Complete all Maps in Bomb Disarm

    Complete all 10 Bomb Disarm missions in either Singleplayer or Co-op. The objective of this mode is to disarm three bombs scattered around each map. Similar to Tango Hunt, there are enemies ranging from 20-30 depending on the map, and again you have 60 minutes to complete the objective. Just like Tango Hunt, in singleplayer you only have one life and no teammates, therefore playing in co-op, preferable with 5-6 players is recommended. The 10 maps are exactly the same as featured in the Tango Hunt mode;

    -Biolab
    -HQ
    -Night HQ
    -Radar Base
    -Radar Storm
    -Cargo Ship
    -Cargo Day
    -Facility
    -Hold
    -Killhouse Breach

  • Find all of the Snow Globes

These are the collectables of the game. There are 7 in total, one in each of the main missions and the Killhouse training mission. Snow Globes only show up in the maps while playing the missions in Singleplayer, and most of the snow globes are scattered on the other side of the map from the position that you spawn, meaning you will have to kill the majority of the enemies in each mission to reach the globes located there. Below are videos showing where to find Snow Globe from the starting spawn.

  • Win 10 Team Deathmatch Matches

This can be boosted with a partner in a Private TDM within the Versus game modes. Simply have the player not going for the achievement leave the match once it starts, which will result in a win for the other player.

  • Win 10 Attack and Defend Matches

This can be boosted with a partner in a Private Attack & Defend match within the Versus game modes. The player going for the achievement will have to plant the bomb 3 times in a minimum of 3 rounds to win a match. Repeat 9 more times for the achievement.

  • Win 10 Last Man Standing Matches

This can be boosted with a partner in a Private TDM within the Versus game modes. The player going for the achievement can simply get one kill on the enemy player, then have that player leave the match resulting in win.

  • Win 100 Versus Matches

The quickest way to rack up 100 versus wins is to boost TDM with a partner. Use the same method as mentioned in "Team Player" by having the second player leave the match granting you the win. 180 TDM wins combined for both players will take around 2.5hrs.
