Introduction:
Prodeus is an indie FPS brought to us by Bounding box that bring the joys of the old school FPS like Doom and Quake into a new light. Playing this instantly brought back the memories of when I played Doom for the first time. Prodeus does well to be able to stand up there with the others. To further increase the enjoyment, it comes along with a fantastic metal soundtrack that changes tone as you battle through the enemies, and has level designs where you never feel like you have seen it before, with a linear gameplay that steers you towards the end so you don't have to worry about getting lost in a map like the old school FPS could leave you feeling.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Firstly, before starting your main playtrough, I will suggest getting the miscellaneous achievements out the way, and the player created maps in the community workshop is where we will go for them. I will link the main achievements here then add more in the description.

First is Kill 10000 Enemies (50G). Going for this can get you seven more achievements also. See description for more information. Then it will be Friendly-Fire 20 (25G), In-Fight 100 (50G), Cloak And Dagger (25G), and Shield Breaker (25G).

Now comes Kind Of A Big Deal (25G) and A Really Big Deal (50G). What I did is play through the first level on ultra hard following a 100% guide which I will link in the achievement's solution. This is not as difficult as you may think, just take your time. The hardest part is where you pick up the rune. The prologue doesn't count, just from when you start Sacrum. This will unlock another six achievements.

Now it is time for the main playthrough on whichever difficulty you prefer while going for Go Get Some Fresh Air (100G) and enjoying the game.

Multiplayer:
Their is a multiplayer element ro the game but no achievements linked to it.

Mop-Up:
Following what I have laid out will just leave you with a few achievements to get like Hidden Exit (10G),  Pacifist (50G), and Hard Target (25G), but I will link where I can in the descriptions.

Conclusion:
This is an enjoyable game for those to like the old school FPS. It retains the retro look we all fell in love with but with a modern take which paid off and produced a fantastic game which was created by people who are veterans in this style of gaming.

I would also like to thank the players in the Prodeus community that created the maps where some achievements are made easily available if they were to ever visit this guide.

There are 30 achievements with a total of 1000 points

    Secret achievements

    • Kill 100 Enemies

This will come naturally during gameplay but for ease, see Kill 10000 Enemies (50G)
    • Kill 1000 Enemies

This will come naturally during gameplay but for ease, see Kill 10000 Enemies (50G)
    • Kill 10000 Enemies

This can be obtained through normal gameplay, but if you want to get this a much quicker way, head for the community workshops and search for the "kill 10000 enemies" map which comes as a part one and two. Start either map and play. You start with the Chaos Caster and so will make light work of the custom map that spawns around 4800 zombies, and then you can just replay the map two more times to unlock this achievement along with
      Multi-Kill 5 (25G)
      Multi-Kill 10 (50G)
      Corrosive (25G)
      Kill 100 Enemies (25G)
      Kill 1000 Enemies (25G)
      Splatter Master (50G)
      Fist Parade (25G)
    • Kill 5 Enemies In A Row

This achievement is misleading. It has to be five at the same time, not in a row. This can be obtained while completing Kill 10000 Enemies (50G)
    • Kill 10 Enemies In A Row

This achievement is misleading. It has to be ten at the same time not in a row. This can be obtained while completing Kill 10000 Enemies (50G)
    • Get 20 Enemies To Kill Each Other With Friendly Fire

    • Get 100 Enemies To Kill Each Other

You will notice ingame, as you play through the campaign, red and blue enemies fighting. That will count towards this, but to make it easier, enter the community workshop and search the map with the same name: "In-fight 100 achievement." Start it up and allow the monsters to battle and kill the final enemy and finish the map. It will take around four replays of the map to unlock the achievement.
    • Break 10 Shields

Throughout the later levels you will find enemies with red shields. These are the ones you need to break to kill the enemy.

To make this easier, enter the community workshop and search the map with the same name: "shield breaker achievement." Start it up and use the loadout to break the shields and finish the map. This may take one or two replays.
    • Kill 10 Cloaked Enemies

Throughout the later levels you will find enemies who look like the invisible monsters from Doom. These are the ones you need  to kill.

To make this easier, enter the community workshop and search the map with the same name: "cloak and dagger achievement." Start it up and use the loadout to break the shields and finish the map. This may take one or two replays.
    • Obliterate 100 Enemies

This means the enemy has to explode into bits when killed. It will come naturally and can easily be done while going for Kill 10000 Enemies (50G)
    • Melt 20 Enemies With The Chaos Caster

This will come naturally when you obtain this weapon in the later levels but can be easily obtained while going for Kill 10000 Enemies (50G) using the Choas Caster. Use the secondary fire by holding down a charge with lt.pngand then releasing.
    • Finish A Level Without Killing Any Enemies

This can be difficult with a level that has forced encounters that you can not pass until you defeat the enemies for that section. But, I have found players using Sacrum after obtaining the double jump power up. I have found a guide that seems the easiest to follow. It is on Sacrum but in German, but we just need the video to follow
    • Kill 20 Enemies With Environmental Hazards

This can be obtained by killing enemies with the barrels placed throughout the levels when they get close enough.
    • Make 1 Purchase

    • Make 5 Purchases

This is obtained by purchasing the upgrades and weapons with the ore that is found throughout the levels. The first one that is available from the shop is the super shotgun after completing the level Wretch.
    • Pick Up 10 Ore

    • Pick Up 25 Ore

    • Pick Up 50 Ore

Ore is the currency of the game, used to purchase weapons and upgrades to help battle your way to completion. They are found throughout the levels and look like a floating transparent rock with a gold outline.
    • Obliterate An Enemy With Your Fists

Simply press dpad-left.png to select your fists and pummel enemies with lt.pngand rt.png until you unlock. This can be obtained while going for Kill 10000 Enemies (50G)
    • Kill All Enemies In A Level

While in a level, look at the top right of the map screen and it will tell you how many enemies are in the level and will keep count as you kill them. The enemies are hard to miss, and on the map they're shown as a red mark to indicate them as you get close. Can be done along with A Really Big Deal (50G)
    • Finish A Level Without Taking Damage

This will be frustrating as you will have to avoid shotgun and imp enemies while navigating around zombies. Can be done with Pacifist (50G) but to make it easier, seperate the two.

This guide I have linked is in german but we just need to see the video to get the idea.
    • Finish A Level Without Dying

This can be done at any difficulty by not dying in a level and can be obtained while going for A Really Big Deal (50G)
    • Finish A Level Without Dying On Hard Difficulty

Start a level on hard and play through without being killed. See A Really Big Deal (50G)
    • Finish A Level With 100% On Hardest Difficulty

    • Finish 10 Levels

      Story-related; cannot be missed.

Unlocks once you have completed the tenth level.
    • Finish A Level With 100% On Any Difficulty

For this you need to finish a level without dying, killing all enemies and finding all secrets in the level. Also see A Really Big Deal (50G)
    • Find A Hidden Exit In A Level

The Meltdown level is known for its hidden exit and requires the double jump ability. This is best done after you complete the level at 100%.
    • Find All The Secrets In A Level

    • Finish The Campaign

      Story-related; cannot be missed.

Finish the game on any difficulty for this to unlock.
    • Finish The Campaign With 100% On All Levels

This requires you to complete each level without dying, collecting all secrets, and killing all enemies. Secrets and enemies are tracked on the map screen to how many and what remains. This can be done on any difficulty.
